WHO WE ARE?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Radar Finance & Leasing Ltd (RFL) are Commercial Finance Brokers based at Main Rd, Brailsford, Derby\u2019s, DE6 3DA. We act as a Credit Broker for our customers. Radar Finance & Leasing Ltd are Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. FRN 675719. This Privacy Notice\/IDD sets out how RFL uses any information that you give us via any type of communication between us.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Working with an independent panel of lenders, providing a fair analysis of the relevant market, we will act on your behalf as a Credit Broker and not a lender. We will endeavour to act in your best interests,\u00a0at all times\u00a0and will source funding from our panel of lenders suitable to the requirements you\u00a0disclose\u00a0to RFL.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

COMMISSION DISCLOSURE<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Unless mutually agreed RFL will not charge you for the services it provides as we normally receive payment by way of a commission from our independent panel of lenders.\u00a0We do not consider all finance options that are available in the market. Our introduction of you to any funder does not constitute independent financial advice. Other forms of credit may be more\u00a0appropriate for\u00a0you.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Different lenders will pay different commissions for such introductions, however the commission received will not affect the impartiality of the recommendation. Most funders on our panel have a Commission Disclosure document (CDD) for you to sign prior to signing a finance agreement. RFL does have its own should a funder not provide one. By signing you agree to the payment of a commission to RFL from the funder.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is a commission payment?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A commission payment is an amount of money that RFL will receive from a lender for introducing you to them.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How is the commission payment been calculated? <\/strong><\/p>\n

The amount of commission received will be a percentage of the advance, a variable or a fixed amount<\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>It will vary from funder to funder and is dependent upon\u00a0<\/span>a number of<\/span>\u00a0factors including (but not exclusive to) asset type, product chosen and customer circumstances. The exact amount will be within the Commission Disclosure Document<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is a Back Debit?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

A funder can sometimes ask us to repay all or part of the commission. For example, this can happen where the Finance Agreement ends early, or the agreement is\u00a0<\/span>terminated<\/span>\u00a0through non-payment,\u00a0<\/span>default<\/span>\u00a0or repossession<\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

PRIVACY NOTICE <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Here at RFL we take your privacy seriously and will use your personal & business information in\u00a0<\/span>a number of<\/span>\u00a0ways which will assist you, us and our third-party funders?<\/span> (You agree to and understand that RFL may pass your data on to more than one funder. In addition to this Privacy Notice a funder may provide their own during an application process which can be provided to you on request or will be provided by the funder themselves) \u2013<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Complete credit applications for you which are sent on to our third-party funding partners for consideration which will include credit checks\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 by either RFL, our funding partners or both.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Prevent Fraud and money laundering and to verify your identity\u00a0<\/span>in order to<\/span>\u00a0protect RFL and that of a third party.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Aid Audit\u2019s and Statistical Analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    We and our funding partners may share your information with, and obtain information about you from, credit reference agencies or fraud prevention agencies.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    We will not\u00a0disclose\u00a0your information to any company outside of RFL and where applicable our third-party funding partners except to help prevent fraud or if required by law to do so.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    What we need<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Radar Finance & Leasing Ltd will be what is known as the Controller and Processor of the data you provide to us. We collect personal & business data about you which may also include any special types of information or location-based information.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    The categories of information that we may collect include but not limited to \u2013 Name, Address, Address History, Residential Status, Email Address, Telephone Numbers, Marital Status,\u00a0No\u00a0of dependents, Date of Birth, Employers Name and Address, Occupation, Time in Employment, Bank Details, Driving Licence Number. ID documents\u00a0required\u00a0to include Passport, ID Card, Driving Licence, Credit\/Debit Card, Wage Slip, P60, Proof of Home Ownership, Proof of Disability, Pensions Statement, Company Accounts, Tenancy Agreements, Bank Statements, Council Tax, Utility Bills.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Our Funders may also require proof of income to ensure affordability.\u00a0\u00a0Please note that we may ask for this information to support your Proposal.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Why we need it<\/strong><\/p>\n

    We need to know your basic personal and business data\u00a0<\/span>in order to<\/span>\u00a0provide\u00a0<\/span>accurate<\/span>\u00a0information for a proposal to be sent to a funder to consider your application. We will not collect any data from you we do not need\u00a0<\/span>in order to<\/span>\u00a0provide and oversee this service to you.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

    What we do with it<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Automated Decision Making: RFL will pass your data captured to brokers\/lenders\/funders\/banks who may use automated decision-making in respect of your application for finance. We will only collect the\u00a0minimum\u00a0amount of data needed and have a clear retention policy for the profiles we create.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or any significant effects. You can request human intervention and challenge a decision made this way by contacting\u00a0<\/span>info@radarfinance.com<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>Business applications are normally a combination of automated processing & manual human underwriting.\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    All the data we use is controlled by Radar Finance & Leasing Ltd in the UK, however, for the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance, this information is\u00a0located\u00a0on servers within the European Union and\/or in a Cloud based storage facility. No 3rd parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.? We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.     How long we keep it<\/strong><\/p>\n

    We will keep your data & information that was given at the\u00a0initial\u00a0application, during the application and completion stage of a finance agreement for a minimum of 7 years, after which time it will be destroyed. The information used for marketing will be kept with us until you\u00a0notify us\u00a0that you no longer wish to receive this information. Declined applications will be kept for a minimum of 6 months.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Credit References agencies will\u00a0retain\u00a0the account information given to them for 6 years after your account is closed. Fraud prevention agencies can hold your information for up to 6 years. Before we or our partners provide a facility for\u00a0you\u00a0we\/they will undertake checks for the purpose of preventing fraud and money laundering. If any party\u00a0determine\u00a0you pose a fraud or money laundering risk a facility may be refused or stopped if existing<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
